SHIPPING & HANDLING POLICY
OVERVIEW
After your order has been placed, you can expect it to ship within 1-3 business days. Processing times may vary during the summer months, sales, new product launches, and holidays. Shipping and handling may take up to 5 business days during these events.
Once your order has been provided to the carrier, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Please note, it may take up to 1-2 business days for the tracking number to be scanned into the USPS or UPS carrier system. Please note that between May-September, we will only package and ship your orders on Mondays & Tuesdays to limit exposing your candles to extreme heat. We aim to ensure your candles arrive safely to you! Extreme heat can cause oil separation, wax melting, breakage or dents.
We encourage customers to opt in to the Route Package Protection service offered upon check-out; this will provide coverage should a package be lost, stolen, delayed or damaged in transit. If you opt-out of Route Package Protection and your package has been lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged, we are not able to assist with full compensation or replacement of your order. Please see our Exchange & Return Policy for more information.
Please ensure the accuracy and safety of the shipping address provided. We will not be held liable for incorrectly entered shipping information or packages left, stolen, or missing from an unreliable or unsafe shipping address. The customer is responsible for paying any additional shipping and handling costs incurred by packages returned to the sender due to issues with delivery.
Once a package is picked up and scanned into the carrier's system, the shipping, handling, and delivery status is no longer within our control; please reach out to the carrier directly for missing or stolen packages.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
All packages are shipped out of our New York studio. We currently offer domestic shipping. If you have questions about a specific international order, please contact us at orders@valorosa.com.
Please note, your International order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Valorosa is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
PREORDERS
Preorders will be shipped out in the order they are received. The estimated date for shipping will be listed in the details section of each product. Please note the dates are estimates and are subject to change. If the anticipated shipment date extends beyond 30 days of the original estimate, we will contact you about the delay. without notice.
If your order contains one or more items listed as "preorder" the whole package will be shipped when contents become available. If you require expedited shipping, we recommend placing two separate orders, one with pre-order items and one with in-stock items.
STOLEN / LOST PACKAGES
We are not responsible for any stolen or lost packages. If you opt-out of shipping protection and your package has been lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged, we are not able to assist with compensation or replacement of your order.
